May Bird book 1 and 2 book review
May Bird by Jodi Lynn Anderson is about a girl named May Bird who lives by the woods of Briery Swamp. When people start to disappear from Briery Swamp, May Bird feels that she needs to go investigate. And of coarse she does. After falling in the lake, May Bird finds herself in a whole different world, the world of ever after. May Bird has an immense situation. She is stuck in the world of ever after! And in book two, among the stars, may bird is close to finding home. During may bird and her friends’ journey, the came across some obstacles but found a way to get around them. In the end, she made it home after finding more people that were still alive and were the ones that disappeared from briery swamp. Both make you feel tremendously tense by holding you in a way that makes you feel that you should read further. Since this is such an excellent book, I would recommend it for those that are extremely fond of mysteries that have intensity. I am certain that they would worship this book. I would say that may bird is a bit like me because if a mystery comes upon us, I am positive that we would both try very hard and not rest until it is figured out. At the same time, I would want her to be my friend as well because she would help you out at anytime and you could trust her with anything. If I could be any character in this wonderful book, I would again want to be maybird because she seems to have a great personality and mush more.
